Do you know about canvas marking? What for is it? I’ll share with you a small tip about this stitching option.
Canvas Marking is the special lines on the working canvas that help you to navigate the canvas.
The layout is a grid of squares, which is drawed on the working chart and canvas. The number of crosses must be the same. Usually, the side of the square is equal to 10 cells for Aida. The marking starts always from the center. Then the process depends on the size of the plot. If embroidery is small, it is possible to make the layout for the whole picture completely.

The following materials can be used for marking:
- Thread;
- Flushable marker;
- Disappearing marker;
- Chalk;
- Soap.
