Tasty cake recipe
Ingredients:
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1/2 cup sugar
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1 egg
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 3 tablespoons milk
– 2 tablespoons oil
– 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease and flour two 6-inch cake pans or line with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, and salt.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg, vanilla extract, milk, and oil.
4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
5. In another small bowl, mix together the baking soda and lemon juice. Once the bubbles form, add it to the cake batter and mix thoroughly.
6. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
